The Daytona SP3 doesn't offer collision warning or crash mitigation brakes.

The Corvette offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Corvette’s lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a lane departure warning system.

Both the Corvette and the Daytona SP3 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras and available blind spot warning systems.

Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty covers the Corvette 2 years longer than Ferrari covers the Daytona SP3. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Daytona SP3 ends after only 3 years.

The Corvette’s corrosion warranty is 3 years longer than the Daytona SP3’s (6 vs. 3 years).

There are over 64 times as many Chevrolet dealers as there are Ferrari dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Corvette’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Corvette second among compact premium sporty cars in their 2025 Initial Quality Study. The Daytona SP3 isn’t in the top three in its category.

The Corvette E-Ray’s standard 6.2 V8 hybrid produces 78 lbs.-ft. more torque (592 vs. 514) than the Daytona SP3’s 6.5 DOHC V12.The Corvette ZR1X’s standard 5.5 turbo V8 hybrid produces 421 more horsepower (1250 vs. 829) and 436 lbs.-ft. more torque (950 vs. 514) than the Daytona SP3’s 6.5 DOHC V12.

The Corvette E-Ray can travel with zero emissions on a full charge for 5 miles. The Daytona SP3 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Corvette (except Z06/ZR1)’s fuel efficiency. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Corvette E-Ray/ZR1X’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

An eight-speed automatic (SMG) is standard on the Chevrolet Corvette, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only a seven-speed automatic is available for the Daytona SP3.

All wheel drive, available in the Corvette, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. For better traction, the Corvette Z06/E-Ray/ZR1’s front tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Daytona SP3 (F:275/30R20 & R:345/25R21 vs. F:265/30R20 & R:345/30R21).

The Corvette Z06/E-Ray/ZR1’s 345/25R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 25 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Daytona SP3’s 30 series tires.

The Corvette has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the Corvette can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Corvette’s wheelbase is 2.8 inches longer than on the Daytona SP3 (107.2 inches vs. 104.4 inches).

The Corvette uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Corvette has 7 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Daytona SP3 (51 vs. 44).

The Corvette has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. When two different drivers share the Corvette, the optional memory system makes it convenient for both. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver and front passenger’s seat positions, steering wheel position, suspension setting and outside mirror angle. The Corvette offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, tachometer, turn signal and navigation instruction readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

The Corvette’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The Daytona SP3’s front passenger window doesn’t close automatically.

The Corvette’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Daytona SP3’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The Corvette’s standard Keyless Open and Start allows you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Keyless Start standard on the Daytona SP3 only offers hands-free access for the ignition, none to unlock the car.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the Corvette detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the Corvette has standard extendable sun visors. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer extendable visors.

Both the Chevrolet Corvette and Ferrari Daytona SP3 offer exterior mirrors that can be folded to provide convenience. The Corvette offers optional power folding mirrors, which allow for easy, one-touch folding or unfolding at the driver’s discretion. This provides added convenience when maneuvering or parking, as well as when walking past the parked vehicle. On extremely cold winter days, the Corvette’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Corvette has a standard center folding armrest for the driver and front passenger. A center armrest helps combat driver fatigue. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a front seat center armrest.

The Corvette’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Chevrolet Corvette has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console for up to two separate devices. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.

The Chevrolet Corvette comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Ferrari Daytona SP3 isn’t available as a coupe.
