To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Corvette’s optional Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side, helping the driver avoid collisions. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

The Corvette has standard OnStar®, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to get turn-by-turn driving directions, remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Corvette and the Valhalla have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras and available blind spot warning systems.

Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty covers the Corvette 2 years longer than Aston Martin covers the Valhalla. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Valhalla ends after only 3 years.

There are over 82 times as many Chevrolet dealers as there are Aston Martin dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Corvette’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Corvette third among compact premium sporty cars in their 2024 Initial Quality Study. The Valhalla isn’t in the top three in its category.

The Corvette ZR1’s standard 5.5 turbo V8 produces 17 lbs.-ft. more torque (828 vs. 811) than the Valhalla’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid.

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Corvette (except Z06/ZR1)’s fuel efficiency. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

The Corvette has 1.3 gallons more fuel capacity than the Valhalla (18.5 vs. 17.2 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Corvette has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Corvette Z06/E-Ray/ZR1’s 345/25R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 25 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Valhalla’s 30 series tires.

The Corvette has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Valhalla doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the Corvette can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Valhalla doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For better maneuverability, the Corvette with Magnetic Ride Control’s turning circle is 3.6 feet tighter than the Valhalla’s (36.4 feet vs. 40 feet). The Corvette’s turning circle is 1.9 feet tighter than the Valhalla’s (38.1 feet vs. 40 feet).

The Corvette is 4.6 inches shorter than the Valhalla, making the Corvette easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Corvette’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

The Corvette uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Valhalla doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Corvette has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Corvette offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, tachometer, turn signal and navigation instruction readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

The Corvette’s variable intermittent wipers have an adjustable delay to allow the driver to choose a setting that best clears the windshield during light rain or mist. The Valhalla’s

The Corvette has a standard center folding armrest for the driver and front passenger. A center armrest helps combat driver fatigue. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a front seat center armrest.

The Chevrolet Corvette comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Aston Martin Valhalla isn’t available as a convertible.

The Corvette is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Valhalla doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
